I have been using the adb method for taking screenshots of the VTAB. You have to be connected to your PC by USB and need the correct drivers installed and have adb working. It works and isn’t really that hard, but it is nice to be able to take a screenshot when not tied down to your computer. I have created a gallery of screenshots from the Vizio VTAB1008 Android tablet. There are screenshots of the stock home launcher and of the VTAB with Launcher Pro. I have also included shots of system info for the tab generated by Elixer and Quadrant Advanced. There are also full size screen shots of the VTAB running Angry Birds.
One of the first things I did when I set up our new Vizio VTAB1008 Android tablet was to install Launcher Pro and make it the default home app. After getting the tablet set up I decided I wanted to investigate Vizio’s customizations a bit more.
