Vizio Tablet – subsystem has not been initialized error
9/14/11 – a restart of your VTAB may be all you need to resolve this error even with an alternate launcher.
If you run an alternate launcher and try to check for updates you may get the “subsystem has not been initialized” error. I ran the Vizio default home app, then checked for updates and this error does not show up.
You can create a shortcut to the Vizio launcher or you can switch back to the Vizio home.

Vizio Tablet Multitouch
The screen on the VTAB1008 is limited to two points of touch. You can check this yourself with one of the multi-touch test apps from the market. I tried MultiTouch Tester, MultiTouch Visualizer 2, and Multitouch Visible Test with the same result. Two touch points supported and the display seems to bog down or act confused if you try to use more.

Facebook 1.6.4
September 14, 2011 – The Facebook app now shows up in the Android market for the VTAB
Facebook does not show up in the Android Market for the VTAB so I have pulled it from my phone (Dell Streak) and made it available here.
